All are welcome to attend this healthy lifestyle focus on Rehabilitation Yoga. Time will allow for discussion and Q/A. No previous experience of yoga is necessary.
"Rehabilitation Yoga" is unique in that the focus is on theory and practice of mind-body science and breath over bodily movements performed in standard yoga practice.
The end result and purpose is to augment and hasten healing from sports and other injuries and surgeries, as well as to prevent repeated injury to the body’s vulnerable areas.
Exceedingly gentle practice and discussion will take place, along with ample time for questions and answers. If you have any concern about participation, please check with your health care practitioner. Your health practitioner is also welcome to call the presenter if more information is needed before granting permission.
